STEPANAKERT (president.nkr.am)—President Bako Sahakyan received on October 28 relatives of the Sisian regimen freedom-fighters who perished during the Four Day April War, according to the office of the Artsakh president.
Sahakyan underlined that all of the devoted sons of the nation who perished defending the Motherland would always be in the memory of their people, calling their heroism and bravery among the best manifestation of patriotism and selflessness.
Continuous ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan have killed hundreds of Artsakh soldiers since the ceasefire agreement. The most recent attack on October 26 killed 20-year-old serviceman Gurgen Ayvazyan, who on Wednesday was posthumously awarded a medal honoring his memory for his service in battle.
