STEPANAKERT—The bodies of two soldiers were recovered from the Sarsang Reservoir in an apparent drowning following a car accident in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic on the morning of May 8 in the northern region of the state, reported the Artsakh Defense Ministry. Defense Army soldiers Ruben Barseghyan (born 1998) and Rafael Bisharyan (born 1997) were found dead at the scene.
The condition of soldier Ruben Mnatsakanyan (born 1998)−who was with Barseghyan and Bisharyan−is being investigated.
The Defense Ministry offered condolences to Arzumanyan’s family, friends, and fellow servicemen.
