YEREVAN, APRIL 29, ARMENPRESS. The opposition Yelk faction of the Armenian parliament is currently holding a meeting with a delegation of Russia’s State Duma in the Armenian parliament seat – the National Assembly in Yerevan.
Arsen Babayan, director of the PR and press department of the parliament, told ARMENPRESS that Yelk faction leader Nikol Pashinyan is also in attendance.
“The meeting between the delegation of Russia’s State Duma and Yelk faction is underway in the National Assembly. Yelk faction leader Nikol Pashinyan is also participating in the meeting,” Babayan said.
Earlier opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan had said that he had a meeting with President of Armenia overnight April 28-29.
State Duma (lower house of Russian parliament) MPs said at an April 28 press conference in Yerevan that they are ready to meet with Nikol Pashinyan.
