SYDNEY: The Armenian Youth Federation of Australia (AYF Australia) has kicked off a new Educational Program focusing on both Armenian and English topics of relevance to young Armenian-Australians.

Over 40 AYF Australia Seniors and Juniors members were on hand for the first topic, introducing the roles of their parent and sister organisations.

Kevork Vartanian of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Australia Tro Committee was joined by Vache Kahramanian of ANC Australia and Hamazkaine Australia's Heros Grigorian and Assadour Shokayan in delivering this first presentation.

This was part of a six-month Educational Program put together by the ARF Rosdom Group, which is the AYF Australia Educational Committee.

Topics to be delivered in coming months include the Global Financial Crisis, Nagorno Karabakh, Leadership, Activism through Technology, Javakhk, among others.

July 2012 is AYF Australia Month, with activities planned by the community's largest youth organisation.

AYF Canada leader Harout Manougian has been invited and will be joining local members of Sydney's 'Nigol Touman' Chapter for what will be a month of strategy and education as AYF Australia looks to expand its reach in Australia.

Manougian will lead AYF Australia members at a Winter Seminar in Katoomba from July 13-15, and he will deliver a message to the community at a Dinner Dance on Saturday 21 July. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.
