School Business Manager for Galstaun College

A fantastic opportunity exists with leading educational facility Galstaun College located in Sydney's Northern Beaches. We are seeking a highly motivated, professional Business Manager, a new position, to perform a range of duties including:

• Assist in managing capital works projects, infrastructure, renovations and maintenance;
• Assist managing human resource functions of College;
• Risk management and compliance;
• Assist in submitting and managing College grants and applications with the Federal and State Governments and authorities;
• Undertake role of Bursar: including managing College budget; preparation of financial reports to the Board including budget, debts, and projections; responsibility of timely issuing and collection of fees; preparing BAS reports for the Tax Office; payroll; preparation of Group Certificates.
• Manage administrative staff and property manager;
• Assist Principal/Head of College as required.

The Business Manager will report directly to the Principal, and work with the College Board including providing regular periodic reports.

To be considered for this position you will need:

• A mature approach and demonstrate good judgement, initiative and intuition.
• Strong skills across the MS Office suite as well as MYOB.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in finance and proven management abilities.

School Caretaker for Galstaun College

A fantastic opportunity exists with leading educational facility Galstaun College located in Sydney's Northern Beaches. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, self reliant caretaker to perform a range of duties including:

• Maintain College grounds and gardens;
• Ensure security of College and property;
• Supervise sub-contractors;
• Carry out repairs;
• Monitor and maintain College wastewater and water filtration systems;
• Support Student and Staff activities associated with the running of the College, including weekends and evenings by arrangement.

The Caretaker will report directly to the College Business Manager, and work with the College staff and community.

To be considered for this position you will need:

• A mature approach and demonstrate a strong independent work ethic;
• Effective organisation and communication skills;
• Trade qualifications in any relevant area will be an advantage
