SYDNEY and MELBOURNE: 2014 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation in Australia (ARF Australia), and the organisation has invited renowned singer, Nersik Ispiryan to celebrate the occasion.

Ispiryan, based in Armenia, will be accompanied by expert keyboardist Arutyun Chiroglyan, as well as local band members from within Australia.

Ispiryan's Sydney event will be the ARF Australia 50th Anniversary Dinner Dance on Saturday, 6th December (see details by clicking here). His Melbourne event will be held the week before, on Saturday 29th November (details to be released soon).

ARF Australia is also publishing a book to mark this historic milestone, as well as holding a Special Program that will also serve to mark the ARF's 124th International Anniversary (more details to be released soon).

Nersik Ispiryan was born in Yerevan, graduated from School No.160 in the City's Erebuni district before studying in Yerevan's Komitas State Conservatory from 1986 to 1992, while singing in the Akunk («Ակունք») folk ensemble. He moved temporarily to the United States in 1995 (due to political pressure), and now resides in Armenia with his wife and three children - two daughters (Ashken and Ani) and son Arabo, who is also a rising music star in Armenia.
