SYDNEY: Over 300 community members attended the Armenian Independence Day celebration picnic at Galstaun College's picturesque campus in Ingleside on Sunday.
Attendees were treated to on-stage performances by students of Galstaun College and the community's three Saturday schools. Following group and individual songs and poem recitals, students from all represented schools united for a final group song which brought everyone in the crowd to their feet.
Galstaun College parents catered the event with traditional Armenian cuisine, while all students and teachers in attendance wore the colours of the Armenian national flag as part of their attire.
