SYDNEY: The Armenian Youth Federation of Australia (AYF Australia) is hosting an historic Inter-Regional Winter Camp this weekend (July 3-5) on the Galstaun College campus in Ingleside.

Over 70 members of AYF and AYF Juniors (Badanegan) will participate in what is Australia's first Inter-Regional AYF Camp in around two decades. In the last 12 months, the addition of new chapters in Western Sydney (Khanasor Badanegan) and Melbourne (Karekin Njteh Badanegan) allowed for Inter-Regional activities to resume. These new chapters joined the existing Northern Sydney chapters (Nigol Touman AYF and Kaleh Badanegan).

Unger Kevork Terzian, who is among the main organisers of the AYF Australia Inter-Regional Camp, said: "Our team has been working hard over the last three months to ensure this camp's Agenda is fulfilling and rewarding for our members."

AYF Australia Central Executive member, Unger Ara Megerditchian added: "We are delighted that the AYF and Badanegan ranks have registered a noticeable increase in membership and activity in the recent period. The addition of the chapters in Western Sydney and Melbourne stand as testaments to this increase, while we are also seeing growth in our foundation chapters in Northern Sydney."

"This Inter-Regional Camp is an opportunity for our members from all chapters to rub shoulders, learn new things, and return to their week-to-week activities re-energised."

On the final day of the AYF Australia Inter-Regional Camp, Sunday July 5th, the community is invited to an Open Day. See flyer below.
