YEREVAN (ARKA)—The Microsoft Innovation Center in Armenia has organized a hackathon in the city of Vandzor on December 12 and 13. The Microsoft Innovation Center says Hackathon [YAN] Childhood 2015 is a contest for innovative ideas and solutions.
Teams consisting of programmers and non-programmers will develop prototypes and demo versions of web and mobile applications that will be assessed by the panel of experts and mentors.
Seminars on various technologies will be delivered within the framework of the contest. Founders of various successful Armenian startups will also share their experience with the newcomers.
Two teams from the contest, selected by Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia, will be involved in the Startup Acceleration Program.
Teams of 2-5 members that have laptops and notebooks may apply for participation in the contest. Those interested in participating in the hackathon can apply by filling out this form. The application deadline is December 4.
