STEPANAKERT—President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan on Monday received in Stepanakert the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russian Federation), Pierre Andrieu (France), James Warlick (USA), personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in- office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk after their visit to Baku on October 22.
According to a statement by Artsakh’s presidential office, the meeting discussed the Artsakh conflict as well as its recent developments. Sahakyan voiced Azerbaijan’s continuous violations of the ceasefire agreement and the country’s ongoing anti-Armenian policy.
The meeting comes a few days after Azerbaijan assumed an infringement attempt in the eastern and southern directions of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijan border.
Sahakian highlighted the vitality of elaborating mechanisms to maintain the ceasefire regime and disclosing any violation, considering it among pivotal components of the peace process.
The president also expressed gratitude to retired co-chairman Pierre Andrieu for honest and efficient work wishing him successes in life and future career, read the statement.
