YEREVAN (Armenpress)—American actor, Oscar winner Tom Hanks, among other celebrities, called on taking part in the upcoming fundraising Gala organized by the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) on December 9 in New York.
Hanks posted a video where he says: “I cannot be there, which makes me a fool, because I don’t pass up meals at Cipriani easily. Please join this concert, explore your Armenian roots, and if you are not Armenian, just enjoy the night at Cipriani. God bless!”
American singer Ariana Grande and actress with Armenian roots Andrea Martin also called on taking part in the COAF Gala.
“Congratulations, COAF…We love you COAF. Buy your tickets!” they said in a video.
Other celebrities took part in promoting the gala via video include Conan O’Brien, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin, Sean Hayes, and Martin Short.
