SYDNEY & MELBOURNE: Armenian-Australians, Assyrian-Australians and Greek-Australians are expected to turn out in numbers for their annual #MARCHFORJUSTICE in Sydney and Melbourne CBDs on Sunday 24th April 2022, with the upcoming Federal Election providing additional context as the three communities demand Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese recognise the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek Genocides of 1915.

The Armenian National Committee of Australia expects over 1,000 community members to take to the streets, starting in Sydney at 3pm at St Mary's Cathedral near Hyde Park and starting in Melbourne at 2pm at Parliament Gardens.

New South Wales Minister for Multiculturalism, Hon. Mark Coure MP will join the Sydney marchers, who will conclude their demonstration outside Town Hall, where speakers and chanters are expected to demand Federal recognition of the crimes against their ancestors in 1915 on what is the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

The dignitaries, which will include members of the clergy and community leaders, will be led by the Homenetmen Australia Scouts Band, as well as members from local organisations, including scouts, schools, sporting clubs, as well as youth, humanitarian and other groups.
