Nalbandian: Doors will open between countries

As it has already been reported Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan traveled to Turkey yesterday accepting the invitation of his Turkish counterpart to watch Armenia-Turkey football match. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan and other high ranking officials accompanied Mr. Sargsyan during his tour to Turkey. After the football match Armenian FM returned back to "Almira" hotel and made statements for the mass media representatives waiting for him.

"Michel Platini, who traveled also to Bursa to watch Armenia-Turkey match, said that generally football matches are great sport events. But, currently we witness that football can not just a sport event, it can be more, for instance, since previous year it put the start of normalizing Armenian-Turkish ties," "Aysor.am" reports.

Turkey's President said: "If a year ago Armenia's President did not invite me to watch football match, I wonder, if Armenian-Turkish ties would be so much advanced."

Armenian FM said that it would open the closed door which separated our nations from each other and would allow founding grounds for development between our states.
