HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN SYRIADear readers:You are no doubt aware of the current state of upheaval in Syria, and how this upheaval is compromising the livelihood and lives of our Armenian brothers and sisters within that community.You will see we recently published a story of more Armenian deaths in Syria. Another article we recently covered highlights how Artsakh Armenians are offering free housing within their own homes for all Syrian Armenians who wish to flee to Nagorno Karabakh.This is an example of the outpouring of support by Armenians around the world, as are the $1 million fund set up by AGBU International and the $100,000 donated by ARS, Inc. to aid Armenian schools in Syria.It is integral we as Armenians, living in a very fortunate Australia, dip into our hearts and pockets and support our brothers and sisters in Syria.The Armenian National Committee of Australia has already published that they are speaking to political figures, while the community's political and church leaders will be meeting next week to focus their efforts.The Armenian Relief Society of Australia has announced an Appeal that you can support today by clicking here.We pledge to bring you news of all the ways you can aid Armenians in Syria.Sincerely,Armenia Online
