SYDNEY: Over 800 tickets have been sold for the Sydney Dinner Dance of US-based Armenian superstar singer, Harout Pamboukjian, resulting in organisers officially declaring the event a sell-out.

Pamboukjian, who will be in Sydney for the December 2 celebration of the 121st Anniversary of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) with his band, has not visited these shores in over 10 years.

Armenia Online believes the speed in which the event was sold out, within a month since its announcement, is a record for the Sydney Armenian community.

On Sunday December 4, a special program to celebrate the ARF Anniversary will be held, featuring an address by guest of honour, ARF Bureau Member Hagop Der Khatchadourian. More details will be revealed soon.
