New Board and New Logo as Armenia Media in Australia Announces Major Plans for 2021

SYDNEY: Armenia Media, the Armenian-Australian community’s leading publisher of news and related content, has a new Board and an updated look, launching a new logo and website.

The Armenia Media Board has also revealed plans for a bumper 2021 and beyond, by revamping its offering with a renewed focus on new media and exclusive content, looking to welcome additional products to its portfolio.

Armenia Media last launched a major revamp in 2014, when it upgraded its then-fortnightly newspaper product to include a website, mobile application, radio program, YouTube channel and magazine, and their focus will now be further upgrades designed to better serve the community.

The Board will greater activity in the domains of video, podcasts and social, illuminating community news and feature content.

They have committed to provide up-to-date bilingual news, views and events from Australia and throughout the Armenian world to the user’s fingertips and screens, while affording opportunities to younger generations who are currently studying, or are looking to study, media and journalism in their careers.

The new Board is made up of the following members:
Aram Tufenkjian – Chairperson
Abraham Nalbandian – Treasurer
Shant Soghomonian – Secretary
Meghety Zaitounian – Head of Content
Haig Kayserian – Advisor

Armenia Media Chairman, Aram Tufenkjian said: "Our Board is extremely excited to get started in what we hope will be a new era for Armenia Media."

"We can see that the global media landscape is constantly changing, and our aim will be to bring Armenia Media up to date and become a leader serving our community members, as well as its organisations, to spotlight the great work they are doing."
