MARTAKERT, Artsakh—The Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited on October 15 the state’s region of Martakert to partake in the opening ceremonies of a newly built kindergarten and hotel.
Sahakyan first visited the border village of Nerqin Horatagh for the kindergarten’s opening ceremony. He considers the expansion of preschool education in the countryside among the most significant issues the state faces, noting that it would remain a focus to authorities.
A new hotel, a statue of philanthropist Karlen Yesayan, and a manse adjunct to the St. Gevorg church had their opening ceremonies on Saturday in the Mets Shen village of Artsakh.
Sahakyan at the ceremony expressed gratitude to the Yesayan family for the realization of these projects, highlighting their constant support to Artsakh.
