SYDNEY: Sydney filmmaker Shahane Bekarian has released a short documentary covering last week's community Protest against Armenian Genocide denial, held at the NSW Turkish Consulate.

Professor Colin Tatz, a director at the Australian Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, wrote an article for the Sydney Morning Herald titled "Denial of an ugly past is holding Turkey back", condemning Turkey's denial of the Armenian Genocide.

SYDNEY: A Panel Discussion entitled 'Nagorno Karabakh at a Crossroads', organised by the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia, attracted over 100 members of the community who heard experts call for better leadership from the Armenian government.

SYDNEY: Negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group, have raised the possibility of Nagorno Karabakh being handed back to Azerbaijan. There is no doubt that Nagorno Karabakh is at a crossroads.

SYDNEY: Members of the Armenian National Committee of Australia and Armenian Youth Federation of Australia have released a video message to the community, seeking support for the STOP THE PROTOCOLS PROTEST this Saturday.

The Armenian-Australian community's three political parties, the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP), the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) and the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar), have issued a united call to supporters requesting their presence at Saturday's protest against the Armenia-Turkey Protocols.

SYDNEY: A protest to 'STOP THE PROTOCOLS' in the suburb of Ryde attracted over 600 members of the Armenian-Australian community, who chanted an emphatic 'VOCH'/'NO' to the proposed agreement to normalise relations between Armenia and Turkey.
