YEREVAN: ARF-D Bureau representative Hrant Markaryan has expressed his dissatisfaction with this week's parliamentary elections in his interview with Radio Station Liberty.

According to him, “money won” in the elections and “election bribes had a decisive influence on the election results”.

“People’s will was not expressed through elections, but the votes were recorded which were gained through election bribe,” Markaryan said.

According to preliminary data published by CEC, ARF-D received 5.72% of the votes, more than 86,000 votes.

“I am not satisfied with the recorded results as money’s victory over political forces was manifested once again or this time it was manifested with even more percentage. I am sorry for that, I am sorry for our people. As the same authorities, who are the reason of the people’s poverty made use of the people’s poverty to prolong the term of their power,” he said.

Hrant Markaryan didn’t touch upon other election violations stating: “We are discussing the issue and we’ll soon make an official statement."

The ARF-D Bureau representative ruled out the possibility to make a coalition with the force which got more than 44% of the votes: “I think it is senseless to speak about this”.
