NKR: Officials say at least two Azerbaijani soldiers have been killed in a clash with Armenian forces near the border of the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Nagorno-Karabakh lies within Azerbaijan, but since the end of a six-year separatist war in 1994, it has been under the control of Armenian troops and ethnic Armenian forces.
A spokesman for the Nagorno-Karabakh defence ministry, Senor Asratyan, said the Tuesday fighting started when Azerbaijani soldiers launched an attack within the territory.
He said four Azerbaijani troops were killed and one Armenian was wounded.
But Azerbaijani news agencies cited the country's defence ministry as saying the Armenians launched the attack in a village outside the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The ministry said three Armenians and two Azerbaijanis were killed.
