YEREVAN (ArmRadio)—Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan hosted a meeting Wednesday on the organization of events dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of proclaming Ani as the capital of the Bagratuni Dynasty.
The participants of the meeting discussed the composition of the jubilee commission, the program of events and the financing of the initiative.
The program envisions the organization of an international academic conference in Yerevan, exhibitions in Armenia and the Diaspora, publication of an album of photos of Ani.
During the meeting it was proposed to create a Web site that will present 3D views of Ani and shoot a film about the medieval Armenian capital.
The Commission will be chaired by Radik Martirosyan, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, the Prime Minister announced.
