STEPNANAKERT—The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Foreign Minister Georgi Petrosian on Thursday left his post, a move, which was approved by a decree by President Bako Sahakian.
Sahakian appointed Petrosian a presidential aide.
The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic presidential press service announced that the responsibilities of the foreign minister were temporarily assigned to deputy foreign minister Vassily Atajanyan.
On July 1, at the conclusion of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation World Congress in Tsaghgadzor, Armenia, Petrosian was elected to the new nine-person Bureau of the party.
