Artsakh’s Defense Minister, the heads of the National Security Service, the chiefs of Police, and representatives of the State Service for Emergency Situations delivered reports at the meeting.
One the recent breakout of violence along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border, Sahakian stressed that efforts by the Artsakh Defense Army “efficiently rebuffed” attacks by the enemy, causing disproportionate losses to the Azeri side.
Sahakian said that the country’s reaction to the attacks by Azerbaijan demonstrated a high level of military preparedness, the “unwavering spirit” of patriotism in Artsakh’s soldiers, and the people’s cohesion in the face of external threats and their willingness to defend their independence, security, and the dignity of their state.
Sahakian expressed gratitude to the Artsakh Defense Army’s command staff and personnel, Artsakh’s freedom fighters, and to the nation for their skills and abilities in rebuffing Azeri encroachments, considering them the best manifestations of professionalism and patriotism.
The President also mentioned his readiness and ability to notice shortcomings and weaknesses and to take appropriate measures to eliminate them. He expressed confidence that the military leaders of Artsakh would discuss those issues on a “professional level.”
