The last parliamentary elections in Artsakh were held on May 23, 2010. The current parliament is composed of five parties – the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), Democracy Party, Homeland Party, Artsakhatun (House Artsakh), and the Republican Party.
The previous parliamentary elections were watched by about 120 international observers from 15 countries, who recognized the elections as legitimate, free, democratic, transparent, and in compliance with international standards.
