STEPANAKERT—Artsakh President Bako Sahakian visited south-eastern border of Nagorno-Karabakh on August 22 to meet with the command staff and discuss the course of service and current situation in the region.
According to the press service of the Artsakh Presidential Office, Armenian and Artsakh Defense Ministers Seyran Ohanyan and Levon Mnatsakanyan, along with other officials, took part in the meeting.

Earlier that day, Sahakian received Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan in Stepanakert. Artsakh’s Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, Deputy Prime Minister Artur Aghabekyan, Defense Minister Levon Mnatskanyan, and Armenia’s Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Movses Hakobyan were also present at the meeting.
The meeting discussed issues related to expansion of the army and cooperation between the two Armenian states.
