SYDNEY: The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Australia Tro Committee has met with regional body representatives of Homenetmen, the Armenian Relief Society and Hamazkaine in Willoughby.
The organisations were given an insight into ARF Australia's planned activities for the coming two years, and were explained that an emphasis will be placed on securing greater youth involvement in all community organisations.
The representatives pledged their allegiance to
ARF Australia's declaration that is was the 'Time for Youth' (click here for earlier release). They acknowledged the gap in youth involvement was a serious concern that all organisations can work harder do overcome.
ARF Australia Tro Committee also announced to the organisations that all dates for their (and their chapters') upcoming events must be submitted to Armenia Online, for input onto the website's
Announcements page (click here to see Announcements page).
The Committee explained that it hoped this would solve issues of event clashes, which sometimes occur in the Sydney Armenian community.
Meanwhile, the ARF Australia Tro Committee also met with members of the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) and visited a camp organised by the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia (AYF Australia).
