CALIFORNIA: Software co-found by Armenian-Australian Sidney Minassian has taken home the top honour at prominent technology expo DEMOfall'09, winning the US$500,000 Best Enterprise award for their clever project management tool.
The software, called Liaise, allows one to automatically generate and assign tasks, complete with deadlines and action items, from their Email. It is currently available as a plug-in for users of Microsoft Outlook.
Liaise CEO Minassian, raised in Marsfield as an active member of the Armenian-Australian community, was understandably delighted with winning this prestigious honour at the same show which launched innovative products like Apple's iPhone.
He said: "We're thrilled to win this award, especially since there were so many impressive products being shown at DEMO. Thank you to everyone who voted for us - we are honoured by your support."
