Smoky Dawson Pavilion opens Sunday, with guests galore

SYDNEY: The CEO of Northern Sydney Basketball Association will be joining many other invited guests, including Galstaun College Benefactors and Community Sponsors, as well as the wider Armenian-Australian community, to celebrate the official opening of Galstaun College’s Smoky Dawson Pavilion as well as HOMENETMEN Antranig’s Indoor Sports Academy, to be based at the Smoky Dawson Pavilion, tomorrow Sunday 7 December 2014.

Singer Nersik Ispiryan, visiting Sydney from Armenia, will also perform.

The Official Opening Ceremony, which will be presided by His Grace, Haigazoun Najarian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Australia and New Zealand, will commence at 5:00pm. The Opening Ceremony will include exhibition games including teams representing Galstaun College, HOMENETMEN Antranig and HOMENETMEN Ararat.

The Official Opening of the Smoky Dawson Pavilion will be followed by Galstaun College’s Annual Carols by Candlelight.

From 1:00pm, the Galstaun College Parents & Friends Association has organised delicious khorovadz and other foods and beverages as well as family games and entertainment.
