FRIDAY 24 APRIL: Sydney Protest against Denial of the Armenian Genocide at the NSW Turkish Consulate

SYDNEY: The Armenian Genocide Centenary Commemoration Committee has announced a Protest will be held on Friday, 24th April at the NSW Turkish Consulate.

The Protest will be against the Republic of Turkey's continued denial of the Armenian Genocide, which saw 1.5 million Armenians, as well as hundreds of thousands of Assyrians and Greeks, exterminated during the final days of the Ottoman Empire.

The peaceful demonstration will begin at 3pm and conclude at 4pm, and is being organised by the entire Armenian-Australian community.
