SYDNEY: Over 400 members of the Armenian-Australian community stood in applause at the conclusion of Galstaun College' Primary concert titled 'Trip to Armenia', which was held at Macquarie University on Sunday afternoon.
Students from Kindergarten through to year 6 took the gathered on a journey through Armenia's most significant attractions, covering the social, historical and cultural aspect of the country. The concert included solo songs, group songs, dances and acting, as well as violin, piano and poem recitals.
The 'Trip to Armenia' concert was appropriately dedicated to the Armenian literary anniversary of 'Tarkmanchats'.
Principal Kaylar Michaelian thanked the Armenian language and music staff of Galstaun College for their assistance in putting on this impressive concert.
