Greek, Armenian, Jewish and Assyrian organisations hosting Australian event honouring 70th Anniversary of UN Genocide Convention

CANBERRA: The 70th Anniversary of the United Nations' Genocide Convention will be marked at a National Museum of Australia event in Canberra, organised by the Federation of Pontian Associations of Australia in collaboration with the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU), the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, the Assyrian Universal Alliance and the Australian Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

The event will feature a keynote address from the Vice-Chair of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, Dr. Melanie O'Brien.
