SYDNEY: The winner of The Voice Armenia in 2013, Masha Mnjoyan earned a standing ovation after turning the chairs of all four judges during her blind audition for The Voice Australia on Sunday 31st May 2020.

Mnjoyan, 25, who moved to Sydney from Yerevan to study, delivered a rousing rendition of Celine Dion's All By Myself before picking Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child fame as her judge for the Australian version of The Voice.

"I am Masha Mnjoyan, an international all-star. I am Armenian," she said when asked to introduce herself.

Boy George, Delta Goodrem and Guy Sebastian made impassioned pleas for her to join their team, however Mnjoyan ultimately picked Grammy Award-winner Rowland.

Earlier this month, when Mnjoyan was revealed as a contestant on The Voice Australia 2020, she gave an in-depth interview - in Armenian - with Nora Sevagian of Australia Live by Armenia TV, which is produced by us here at Armenia Media. Please enjoy below.
