BAKU (Trend)—More than 10 fighters and military helicopters belonging to the Azerbaijani Air Forces are holding military exercises in a “front-line zone” close to Karabakh military forces.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev has been stationed at the front-line zone near Nagorno-Karabakh since Wednesday, Trend News Agency reported.
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu confirmed that the military was holding exercises and said the minister had been personally observing the exercises. Abiyev has also visited military units in the front-line zone and was familiarized with their military training.
