“We are pursuing the issue, but due to the president’s busy schedule the time of the trip cannot be specified exactly. However, the trip will occur,” Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Raeisi said.
Iran and Armenia have taken major strides toward promoting their bilateral relations over the recent years, particularly in the economic sector.
According to Iran’s Commercial Attaché in Yerevan Hamaiak Avadis Yanes, the trade turnover between the two neighboring countries hit $293mln in 2013.
