France is concerned over the recent deadly incidents along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh and at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, says the statement. The Karabakh conflict can be resolved only through peace talks. France calls on the parties to respect the ceasefire and take measures to relieve tension and prevent new clashes, according to the statement.
Over the last days Azerbaijan has largely intensified its military efforts along the line of contact with the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Over 25 Azerbaijani and five Karabakh servicemen were killed in the latest raid operations and attempts by Azerbaijani troops to attack Karabakh’s positions.
