“The Armenian authorities understand the necessity of their own recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, but international recognition is needed for that,” he said.
In his words, some political parties blame the country’s authorities for dragging their feet in recognizing Nagorno Karabakh.
The lawmaker said that some political parties make Armenia’s foreign policy more vulnerable by making such statements, especially given that Azerbaijan is hobbling negotiations over Karabakh and is trying to remove the process from the OSCE Minsk Group’s mediation.
