EOC chief Patrick Hickey, along with International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, met Armenian President Serzh Sarfsyan last month.
Hickey said Wednesday, “all the problems were solved,” and, “they have agreed to participate in the games next year, and they will come to our general assembly in Baku in two weeks’ time.”
Hickey, speaking at a meeting of the Association of National Olympic Committees in Bangkok, also said Kosovo will compete as an independent nation in Baku if granted full recognition by the IOC.
