Cavusoglu made the assertion Thursday while speaking to the Turkish Parliament, Turkey’s Gercekgundem news agency reported.
He also reflected on the European Court of Human Rights’ hearing on the case regarding Dogu Perincek over the issue of the public denial of the Armenian Genocide and stressed that his ministry is closely monitoring the case.
And with respect to the “events that occurred in 1915,” Mevlut Cavusoglu claimed that it is impossible for Turkey to recognise the Armenian Genocide, which is attributed to their forebears and the Turkish nation.
“We stress this every time,” Turkey’s Foreign Minister said.
