Speaking to Armenpress, Levent Sensever, a representative of Turkish human rights group DurDe, said: “TTnet is likely to be censoring due to Turkey’s state policy of denial of the Armenian Genocide. This block is definitely an illegal act violating freedom of speech and access to information. As representatives of the DurDe platform that has always been against the Turkish government’s policies aimed at denying the Armenian Genocide, we are also against such censorship and the violation of the right to access information. As the fundamental principles of democracy dictate, we demand an end to such censorship,” Sensever said.
