Azerbaijan has been continuously violating the ceasefire regime on the line of contact between Artsakh’s and Azerbaijan’s opposing forces using arms of various caliber. At the same time, the adversary has tried to carry out sabotage and reconnaissance acts with involvement of special forces.
On Friday night, the Armenian forces had to resort to retaliatory actions to suppress Azeri attacks, as a result of which at least three Azeri soldiers were killed, the Defense Army reported.
Artsakh’s armed forces also undertook preemptive measures in the northeastern part of the line of contact. According to reports, four soldiers from the Azeri Special Forces were killed in that operation.
The Armenian side reported no casualties.
