The sides exchanged opinions on a range of issues of mutual interest related, in particular, to the current situation on the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Artshakh and Azerbaijan and the monitoring conducted by the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
During the meeting, the Mirzoyan drew the attention to the continuous attempts of Azerbaijan to “manipulate and selectively apply the norms of international humanitarian law.” The fate of an Artsakh citizen, Arsen Baghdasarian, who is being held captive in Azerbaijan, was discussed.
On the same day, Artsakh’s President Bako Sahakian also met with Kasprzyk.
Issues related to the situation along the line of contact between the Artsakh and Azerbaijan armed forces were discussed during the meeting.
