The cancellation was carried out by the Chief of Staff of the President of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Tigran Sargsyan, and the Commercial Development Director of HayPost, Narine Seferyan.
The President of Armenia Serzh Sarkisian and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, were present at the unveiling ceremony. President Sarkisian, on official visit to Washington to discuss a trade deal, also visited the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
