People in Aleppo sift through rubble after rebel bombings left an Armenian neighborhood in ruins with nine dead.
The Prime Minister spoke about the situation in Syria and noted that Armenia has tried to assist Syrian Armenians who have had to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict and settle in Armenia.
Abrahamian noted that after the recent shelling of Aleppo’s Armenian-populated Suleymaniye district, he expressed readiness on behalf of the government to host the schoolchildren from Aleppo and create proper conditions for them.
Abrahamian promised to provide details on how Armenia plans to provide for refugee children in an upcoming cabinet meeting.
