YEREVAN (News.am)—The final discussion of an Armenian Genocide resolution at the German Bundestag has been postponed for an indefinite period of timе, the German weekly Der Spiegel reported quoting its sources.
According to Der Spiegel, the Christian Democratic Union and the German Social Democratic Union have agreed to postpone a final discussion of the resolution for an indefinite period of time.
Speaking in Yerevan on Thursday, Germany’s Ambassador to Armenia Matthias Kiesler said that the Bundestag is busy with the problem of refugees, and it is difficult to say when new discussion on Armenian Genocide resolution can take place.
