YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS)—In October, 40 specialists from Armenia’s information technology industry hit the road on a bus tour of Europe to introduce and promote Armenia’s burgeoning IT sector. Armenpress reports that the participants of the tour returned to Armenia with over 300 preliminary agreements with partners and companies.
The journey began on October 4 and ended on November 5. 26 information technology and communications companies were represented in 18 countries. Over 30 official meetings took place during the European tour in Vienna, Katowice, Prague, Berlin, Paris, Marseille, Zagreb, Milan, Belgrade and Sofia.
Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan mentioned that this is not just an achievement for the IT sector, but also for promoting Armenia’s favorable investment climate overall.
