SAN SEBASTIAN, Spain—The Armenian National Committee of Spain (CNA) hosted a conference Friday on the Armenian Genocide at the House of Peace and Human Rights (Casa de la Paz y los Derechos Humanos) at Ariet Palace
The conference, which was organized in collaboration with the historian Nicolás de Miguel, probed the history of the Armenian Genocide and its current geopolitical ramifications.
The CNA organized the conference to introduce and present the Armenian Cause to the people of Spain.
The CNA is urging the Spanish Central Government and the different parliamentary groups to work together for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and to acknowledge it as a crime against humanity, as was done by the European Parliament in 1987.
