LOS ANGELES—Famous American television and radio host Larry King has reportedly accepted Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan’s invitation to visit Artsakh.
The two met during the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s annual Thanksgiving Telethon in Los Angeles.
“Larry King will probably visit Nagorno Karabakh in the near future,” Armenpress quotes Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, His Eminence Hovnan Derderian, as saying.
The former CNN host also made a donation to Telethon 2013.
Representative of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commented on Larry King’s possible visit to Nagorno Karabakh.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will investigate the reports about Larry King’s possible visit to Karabakh,” spokesman Elman Abdullayev told Day.az.
He said they will give assessment only after the “investigation.”
