ALEPPO (Tert.am)—Scores of people, including five Armenians, were wounded in a recent attack in Aleppo, Syria.
Two Armenian districts of Aleppo, Nor Kyugh and Zhapriye, are reported to have been the targets of rocket and mortar shelling, and gas balloon explosions. The raids damaged the roof of a nursing home, Perio News reports on its Facebook page.
Rocket strikes have been frequent in many Armenian districts of the city in recent days. Aleppo-based newspaper Gandzasar said in a post on Facebook that a bomb attack in Nor Kyugh left four Armenians wounded.
A total of nine Armenians are reported to have been killed in recent attacks in Aleppo. The condition of the wounded is thought to be serious.
