Armenia TV (Australia) - Guests at the Australian Red Carpet Premiere endorse The Promise


SYDNEY: The Australian Red Carpet Premiere of Armenian Genocide epic, The Promise took place at the Hayden Orpheum in Sydney this week, with over 250 political, media and community guests encouraging all Australians to see the film when it hits cinemas this coming Thursday, 15th June 2017.

The Premiere, organised by distributors eOne and The Promise Australia Committee (which includes the Armenian National Committee of Australia, the Armenian General Benevolent Union in Australia and the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia), included an extensive guest list, headed by the Premier of Australia's largest state of New South Wales (NSW), Gladys Berejiklian.

Berejiklian was joined by NSW Parliamentary colleagues, Jonathan O'Dea MP, Walt Secord MLC, Victor Dominello MP and David Clarke MLC. The politicians were joined by prominent Australian media identities, including veteran news broadcasters, George Donikian and John Mangos. Also present were members of the media, cinema owners, leaders of the Greek and Assyrian community, as well as Armenian clergy and community leaders.
